A Perfect Circle Gearing Up for a Return
A Perfect Circle have been working on new music and plan to tour in 2017
Who’s ready for new A Perfect Circle music? It’s coming. There’s been so much talk about new Tool music lately, that the idea of new tracks from A Perfect Circle has really been neglected. Until now.
A Perfect Circle guitarist Billy Howerdel explained during a live interview with singer Maynard James Keenan on Monday night (Nov. 21) in Los Angeles that A Perfect Circle have plans to tour next year and even have new songs in the works, according to Pulse of Radio (via Blabbermouth). Keenan agreed, also announcing that the group will also perform at the Hollywood Bowl on May 7, 2017. Howerdel – who also has a solo project called Ashes Divide – was moderating the talk with Keenan, who is on the road for a different reason than music, for once. He’s promoting his new memoir, “A Perfect Union of Contrary Things.”
A Perfect Circle’s last bit of new music was a new song called “By and Down,” that was released in 2013 as part of greatest hits collection. Their last live show happened in 2013. Meanwhile, Tool have been toiling away on a new album for years, but there’s no word yet on when that new released will drop. I’m pumped. It’s due time.
