Skillet Announce 2017 Tour Dates
Christian rockers Skillet will be on the road in February and March
Skillet spent a good deal of 2016 on the road in support of their latest studio album, “Unleashed,” and they’re not stopping. The Christian hard rockers will return to the tour circuit in 2017 with a list of dates that run from the beginning of February through the end of March.
Skillet’s trek will begin Feb. 8 in Clifton Park, New York, and run through a March 24 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Sick Puppies and Devour the Day will serve as openers on select dates. Visit Skillet.com for ticket info.
“Unleashed” marked Skillet’s 10th studio album. The set has a No. 1 Billboard Mainstream Rock single in “Feel Invincible,” which lead singer John Cooper told Audio Ink Radio the band wrote while on the road.
“I wanted to write a song about finding that one thing that when you wake up in the morning with all the terrible things in the world – and you can’t escape it with the violence and racial tension and terrorism – that this person or thing makes you feel strong and face the world,” Cooper said.
