Seether have been working on a new album, and it’s ready to go. The South African post-grunge guys will release their new album, titled “Poison the Parish,” on May 12. The set will mark the band’s follow-up to 2014’s “Isolate and Medicate.”
In addition to announcing the new album, Seether have also posted a new song, “Let You Down,” which is the lead single off “Poison the Parish.” The new tune is currently streaming via YouTube along with a music video that has a horror film feel.
In other news, Seether recently announced the lineup for their annual Rise Above Fest, which raises funding for and awareness of mental illness and suicide prevention. The festival takes place from July 22 through 23 in Bangor, Maine, and will bring live sets from Shinedown, Halestorm, Stone Sour, Korn and other rock and metal acts.
Seether also just announced a massive round of U.S. tour dates to support the upcoming full-length. Find the full roster of shows here and below.
