Coldplay Collaborate with the Chainsmokers on New EP
Coldplay’s ‘Kaleidoscope’ EP features appearances from the Chainsmokers and more
It’s finally official. Chris Martin and the guys of Coldplay have officially announced the details of their upcoming “Kaleidoscope” EP. The five-track set, which they first teased the release last year, will arrive June 2. It includes the new track, “Hypnotised,” which is currently available for download.
The band has also released a music video for “Hypnotised,” which is up on YouTube.
Coldplay’s “Kaleidoscope” EP includes “Hypnotised,” as well as a collaboration with popular DJ duo The Chainsmokers called “Something Just Like This” Rounding out the track listing are the new tracks “All I Can Think About Is You,” “Miracles 2” and “A L I E N S.”
The upcoming EP makes the first set of new tunes from Coldplay to drop since their 2015 studio album, “A Head Full of Dreams.” That collection – which featured guest appearances from Beyonce, Noel Gallagher and Tove Lo – was thought by some of mark Coldplay’s last release, but they obviously had music left in them.
Chris Martin and the guys of Coldplay will also be touring the U.S. this summer and fall to promote “A Head Full of Dreams” and “Kaleidoscope” starting Aug. 1 in New York City and running through an Oct. 8 concert in San Diego.
