Mastodon are continuing on their tour in support of ‘Emperor of Sand’

The metal men of Mastodon keep going and going, as the guys just announced a fall North American headlining tour behind their latest album, “Emperor of Sand.”

The new tour dates set off Sept. 26 in Orlando, Florida, and will run through an Oct. 25 date in Vancouver. For information, head to MastodonRocks.com.

Mastodon have tapped Eagles of Death Metal and Chicago instrumentalists Russian Circles to open the fall tour, which makes sense, since both acts were also on Mastodon’s tour earlier this year.

In addition to the headlining trek, Mastodon will perform at a slew of music festivals this fall, including Louder Than Life, Rock Allegiance and Aftershock, to name a few. The band will also tour the U.K. in December.
