Theory of a Deadman Announce Tour Dates, New Album
Theory of a Deadman have announced a fall headlining tour and new album, ‘Wake Up Call’
Theory of a Deadman tackle an important issue in their new rock single, “Rx.” The song – which will arrive on the band’s sixth studio album, “Wake Up Call,” out Oct. 27 – deals with prescription drug addiction.
The music video for “Rx,” which is streaming via Billboard, depicts a collection in the perils of drug addiction.
“When I got divorced, I went and saw a therapist and the first thing she said was, ‘I want to put you on some Beta blockers or some sort of anti-depressant stuff’ and I’m like, ‘No! No Way! What? How is that the first thing you want to do?'” frontman Tyler Connolly said in an interview with Billboard.
“I just feel like something’s wrong and I felt like the song needed to be written and people needed to hear it,” he added.
“Wake Up Call” marks Theory of a Deadman’s follow-up to 2014’s “Savages.” The latter album features the rock radio hits “Angel” and “Drown.” Other Theory of a Deadman chart-toppers include “Bad Girlfriend,” “Lowlife,” “So Happy” and “By the Way,” to name a few.
Theory of a Deadman will hit to road on a U.S. tour to promote “Wake Up Call” in September. Find the full list of tour dates below.
