A Perfect Circle Tease ‘The Doomed’ on Social Media
A Perfect Circle will embark on their fall North American tour later this month
The guys of A Perfect Circle have something up their musical sleeves. The Maynard James Keenan-fronted rock group has posted a mysterious, 15-second teaser via their social media accounts that features A Perfect Circle’s logo, as well as the phrase “The Doomed.”
“The Doomed” teaser marked the band’s first tweet since July 13th, when the group tweeted out a studio shot. Could “The Doomed” be the name of A Perfect Circle’s upcoming studio album? Only time will tell.
A Perfect Circle released their last full-length studio album back in 2004, “eMOTIVe.” The group recently announced they are working on the follow-up to the set and unleashed two new tracks earlier this year: “Hourglass” and “Feathers.”
There’s still some questions whether the band will release a new album this year, or simply more songs. Back in March of this year, a press released was sent stating the band had signed with BMG and would release a new album this year, but when asked by a fan via Twitter if it was true, the band replied “not true.”
One thing that is set in stone is the band’s upcoming tour. A Perfect Circle will hit the road on a fall North American tour starting Oct. 21 at Sacramento, California’s, Aftershock festival. The band will also perform at Knotfest Mexico Oct. 28 at Foro Pegaso in Toluca, Mexico.
