Eagles of Death Metal Documentary ‘Nos Amis’ Heading to DVD/Blu-ray
Eagles of Death Metal gives insight into the horrific terrorist attack at their November 2015 Paris concert
Earlier this year, the Eagles of Death Metal documentary “Nos Amis (Our Friends)” premiered on HBO, and now, the film is coming to DVD and Blu-ray. Look for the movie to hit stores on Dec. 1.
“Nos Amis (Our Friends),” which was directed by Colin Hanks, going in-depth about the aftermath of the November 2015 terrorist attack on Eagles of Death Metal’s concert at the Bataclan venue in Paris, France. The film takes viewers through the band’s terrifying period during that concert and chronicles their return to Paris in February of 2016.
While the film revolves around the tragic terrorist attack, it also going into detail about the friendship between Eagles of Death Metal co-founders Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme, the latter is is also known for fronting Queens of the Stone Age.
Addition interviews in the film include Eagles of Death Metal fans who were at the November 2015 Paris concert, other band members. Bono and The Edge of U2, who invited Eagles of Death Metal on stage during U2’s show in Paris a few weeks after the attack, are also interviewed in the documentary.
Eagles of Death Metal recently performed at Louder than Life festival. They’re currently touring North America with Mastodon.
