Pop Evil Plots November, December Tour Dates
Pop Evil is wrapping up work on its latest studio album, plus hitting the road
The Pop Evil crew has been hard at work on a new album, but they’re ready to rock the road again. The band will set off on a handful of U.S. tour dates later this fall, with opener Ded on some of the shows, starting Nov. 16 in Lexington, Kentucky, and running through a Dec. 1 in Belvidere, Illinois. Pop Evil’s upcoming album will mark the follow-up to 2015’s “Up,” which included the singles “Footsteps,” “Take It All” and “Ways to Get High.” The group — which brings together singer Leigh Kakaty, guitarists Davey Grahs and Nick Fuelling, bass player Matt DiRito and drummer Hayley Cramer — is expected to drop its fifth studio album early next year.
Pop Evil has been rocking it since the early 2000s in North Muskegon, Michigan, near Grand Rapids. The group released its debut, full-length studio album, “Lipstick on the Mirror,” in 2008.
