Rage Against the Machine, Radiohead, Judas Priest Among 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominees
The nominees for the Rock Hall 2018 are out
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame have released their nominees for the class of 2018, and Rage Against the Machine, Radiohead and Judas Priest are among the new names.
Other nominees for the Rock Hall’s 2018 class that have never been nominated include Dire Straits, The Moody Blues, Nina Simone, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Kate Bush, and Eurythmics.
Acts up for the honors who have been nominated in previous years include Depeche Mode, MC5, Bon Jovi, The Cars, J. Geils Band, LL Cool J, The Meters, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, Link Wray and The Zombies.
Say you want your favorite in the Rock Hall? Beginning today and running through 11:59 p.m. EST December 5, fans can vote for their picks at RockHall.com. The top five acts picked by the public will comprise a “fans’ ballot” that will be included with the other ballots.
The final 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees will be announced in December, chosen by a voting body of more than 900 artists, music industry insiders and music historians.
The 2018 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place April 14 in Cleveland, Ohio. The ceremony will air on HBO.
