Corey Taylor and Stone Sour Announce Tour with Halestorm
This year has been a busy one for Corey Taylor and the guys of Stone Sour, and that trend will continue into 2018. Stone Sour and Halestorm just announced a co-headlining 2018 North American tour for next year that will kick off in Canada on Jan. 27 in Abbotsford, British Columbia, and run through a Feb. 11 date in Rochester, New York.
Stone Sour’s tour roster for next year also include three U.S. headlining concerts with openers Red Sun Rising. Stone Sour is touring in support of their latest album, 2017’s “Hydrograd.”
The Halestorm crew is currently working on their upcoming, fourth studio album, which is slated to arrive in the spring. For the full list of tour dates and ticket details, head to StoneSour.com.
Taylor recently spoke with Anne Erickson about the brotherhood of Stone Sour. “The thing is, we had never really been apart,” Taylor said of the guys of Stone Sour getting back together and on the road.
“During all of the breaks and everything,” he added, “we would get together and we would work on all of the material, whether it was the new material for this album or doing the covers for the ‘Burbank’ stuff or just hanging out. We just really enjoy hanging out together.”
