Foo Fighters Book New Year’s Eve Gig in Las Vegas
We’re still a few months away from the New Year, but Foo Fighters are already gearing up to rock a special New Year’s Eve gig. Dave Grohl and company are set to perform on Dec. 31, 2017, at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Tickets will go sale this Friday (Nov. 3) via CosmopolitanLasVegas.com.
More Foo Fighters plans for 2018 include headlining Germany’s 2018 Rock am Ringand Rock im Park festivals, set to take place concurrently June 1 to 3. The lineups also feature Rise Against, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Gorillaz, Marilyn Manson, A Perfect Circle, Avenged Sevenfold and Stone Sour, to name a few.
Last weekend, Foo Fighters headlined the Voodoo Music and Arts Experience festival in New Orleans on their current tour behind their latest studio album, “Concrete and Gold.”
The guys are currently on a short break, but will hit the road again starting Nov. 7 in Madison, Wisconsin.
Last night, Grohl was the guest host on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” He took the stage in a white-beareded costume, posing as David Letterman for the Halloween episode. Grohl was filling in for Jimmy Kimmel, who took this week off to be with his son who is undergoing surgery.
Actress Kristen Bell was a guest on the show, and during the interview, Grohl revealed that his daughters love Kristen’s song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” from “Frozen.” Grohl and Bell ended up performing a mash-up of the song with Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.” Watch the clip below.
