Weezer, Pixies Announce 2018 Tour Dates
Rivers Cuomo and the guys of Weezer are riding high on the release of their new album, “Pacific Daydream,” and now, the guys have a new tour to go with it. Weezer will kick off a North American tour next summer with co-headliners Pixies.
The tour, which runs a lengthy seven weeks, will begin on June 23 in Tampa, Florida, and run through an Aug. 12 date in Phoenix.

“We’re all big Weezer fans,” Pixies’ Black Francis said in a statement. “So we’re really looking forward to this summer. We have a lot of respect for Weezer, they’re not afraid to take risks with their music.”
Weezer has performance a handful of shows this summer ahead of the release of “Pacific Daydream.”
The album already has an alternative radio hit in the breezy, upbeat, pop-fueled “Feels Like Summer.” For Pixies, this upcoming run will be in support of their latest studio album, 2016’s “Head Carrier.”
