Foo Fighters Announce New 2018 Tour Dates
Foo Fighters are kicking off this week with some new tour dates. Dave Grohl and company just announced a batch of new shows, including an Oct. 15 date at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, which is special for Michigan Foo fans, as the guys didn’t have any Michigan show on their 2018 itinerary until now. In total, Foo Fighters have added seven new stops, including dates in Detroit, Phoenix, Denver, Kansas City, St. Louis, Milwaukee and St. Paul.
Tickets for all of the shows except Detroit go on sale to the general public Friday (Jan. 26) at 10 a.m. local time. Tickets for the Detroit stop go on sale Thursday (Jan. 25) at 11 a.m. local time.
Foo Fighters are touring North America in support of their latest studio album, “Concrete and Gold,” which dropped last fall. The trek is slated to kick off April 18 in Austin, Texas, and run through an Oct. 18 show in St. Paul, Minnesota. View the band’s full tour roster this year below.
In other news, Foo Fighters’ track “Run,” off “Concrete and Gold” is nominated for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song at the Grammy Awards this year. The producer of “Concrete and Gold,” Greg Kurstin, is up for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical. The band has won multiple Grammy Awards in their career.
