Megadeth is Teasing Something Big
The metal men of Megadeth are teasing something slated to arrive on Monday (Jan. 22). For now, the tease is pretty cryptic, the first hint being a simple tweet and Facebook post stating, “Monday… megadeth.com,” paired with an eerie gray-scale image. That post was followed by another Facebook post and tweet with the hint “Peace Sells,” referring to the band’s 1986 album, “Peace Sells… but Who’s Buying?” So, what do Dave Mustaine and company have up their metal sleeves?
Fans are speculating that the band is planning everything from a new song to new music video to major summer tour to new album announcement. It’s also worth pointing out that Monday marks the two-year anniversary of the release of Megadeth’s latest studio album “Dystopia.” That album’s title track earned the group its first Grammy win for Best Metal Performance at the 59th Grammy Awards.
For now, stay tuned for Monday. In other news, Mustaine has been hosting a new radio show called The Dave Mustaine Show with new episodes airing every Thursday at noon PT/3 p.m. ET on Gimmie Radio. Fans can listen to the show on the Gimmie Radio iPhone app or online at http://gimmeradio.com
