Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Johnny Depp Announce 2018 Hollywood Vampires Tour Dates
The Hollywood Vampires will hit North American ahead of their major European summer tour
The Hollywood Vampires, the supergroup bringing together “School’s Out” rocker Alice Cooper, longtime Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry and actor and guitarist Johnny Depp, have announced a fresh batch of North American concerts. The shows will take place this spring ahead of the band’s major 2018 summer European tour.
The new Hollywood Vampires gigs are set for May 17 in Verona, New York; May 18 in Orillia, Canada; May 20 in Mashantucket, Connecticut; and May 21 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Following that run, the Hollywood Vampires’ European tour will set off May 28 in Moscow, Russia, and is plotted out through a July 8 concert in Rome, Italy.
Hollywood Vampires, which Cooper often calls the “world’s most expensive bar band,” usually pulls out tunes from Alice Cooper and Aerosmith classics, as well as a bevy of cover songs from the likes of Led Zeppelin, the Who and the Doors. The guys also play some Hollywood Vampires originals.
In other news, Cooper just closed out the latest leg of his North American headlining tour behind his 2017 album, “Paranormal.” He will embark on a new batch of North American summer tour dates that spans from an Aug. 5 show in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, through a Sept. concert in York, Pennsylvania.
Cooper will also appear on TV this Easter Sunday (April 1). The longtime shock rocker has been tapped to play the villainous role of King Herod in the “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert” television special, which airs at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
