Evanescence, Lindsey Sterling Announce 2018 Tour Dates
Evanescence will embark on a major tour this summer with violinist Lindsey Stirling
Evanescence recently released a new album, “Synthesis,” and now, Amy Lee and company will embark on a major tour this summer in support of the set. In a match that seems very appropriate, the band is taking viral violinist Lindsey Stirling along for the ride. The joint tour will kick off July 6 in Kansas City, Missouri, and run through a Sept. 8 show in Ridgefield, Washington. Tickets for the shows are currently available to the general public, and for ticket information, head to Evanescence.com.
As was the case with Evanescence’s previous tour dates in support of “Synthesis,” the tour will see Evanescence accompanied by a full orchestra. It wouldn’t be a surprise for Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling to appear onstage together, as Evanescence’s song “Hi-Lo” features Stirling. “Synthesis” is the latest album from Evanescence, and it features the band’s biggest hits backed by an orchestra.
Most of the summer tour dates are at outdoor amphitheaters in the U.S. and Canada. Find the full list of tour stops below.
In other news, between Evanescence album releases, Lee released a solo album of children’s songs last year via Amazon Video. The collection, titled “Dream Too Much,” features 12 songs for babies, no doubt inspired by Lee becoming a mother a few years ago.
