Bush, Stone Temple Pilots and the Cult Announce 2018 Tour Dates
The 2018 ‘Revolution 3’ tour will feature headlining sets from Bush, Stone Temple Pilots and the Cult
Here’s a tour that packs an alternative rock punch. Bush, Stone Temple Pilots and the Cult are teaming for a major North American summer run, dubbed the 2018 “Revolution 3” tour. What’s especially unique about this particular package is that all three bands helped create what would eventually be referred to as the alternative music genre.
The “Revolution 3” tour will kick off with a July 18 date in Nashville, Tennessee and run through a Sept. 2 gig in Phoenix, Arizona. Each band will take turns in the headlining slot, so the tour is calling this a “revolving headlining run” that allows for full sets from all three group. Tickets for the shows will go on sale to the general public starting Friday (April 6) via Live Nation.
Members of Bush, the Cult and Stone Temple Pilots (including new lead vocalist Jeff Gutt) will be on hand at a tour launch party in Los Angeles tomorrow (April 3). All three of the acts are set to perform at the Los Angeles event, to boot.
“We are looking forward to seeing everybody in the summer. This is a great tour for rock fans,” Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale said in a press release. Stone Temple Pilots’ Robert Deleo added, “We are thrilled to join our friends this summer to celebrate our music with all of you.”
