Las Vegas hard rockers Five Finger Death Punch are days away from the release of their new album, and the gents have unleashed a powerful new music video for the song “Sham Pain” off the album, called “And Justice for None.” The album is set to drop on May 18.
“‘Sham Pain’ is a lyrical snapshot of probably the most chaotic, yet the biggest year of our career,” guitarist Zoltan Bathory said in a statement. “So far, we’ve come out of every bear attack relatively un-scraped, and the band is tighter than ever. Life is not so difficult if you don’t take yourself sooo seriously.”
He added, “As long as you can find the humor in everything you are winning and the winning is strong with this video, as it follows the footsteps of our Oscar winning masterpiece ‘Jekyll and Hyde.’ It was a simple process: We lit the set on fire and then made our poor director Rob Anderson’s artistic sense into a piñata. Whatever he could salvage became the music video.”
Five Finger Death Punch will be embarking on a major co-headlining tour with Breaking Benjamin this summer, with Nothing More and Bad Wolves also on the bill. That tour will kick off on July 16 in Seattle, Washington, and will hit 32 North American cities. The band is currently on a co-headlining tour with Shinedown, and the trek will wrap up May 30 in Casper, Wisconsin.
