Shinedown Frontman Brent Smith Learns How to Golf in New Video
Watch Brent Smith of Shinedown try golfing in this new Golf Channel video
The guys of Shinedown have already enjoyed a busy year, from the release of their new album, “ATTENTION ATTENTION,” to tour dates around the world. That said, it’s obvious the guys need to do something fun that doesn’t involve work when their schedule allows.
The Golf Channel recently caught up with the Shinedown crew as they headed to Topgolf to get their golf on.
For frontman Brent Smith, golfing was a new experience. “Brent doesn’t have any hobbies besides this,” joked Eric Bass, who is something of an expert golfer. “That’s all he does: Shinedown.”
“This day was about embracing the lifestyle or the sport,” Smith added. “Eric said, ‘Just come and do it with me, man. I think you’ll have a great time!”
So, how does Smith do at the game of golf? Watch the Golf Channel video below to find out.
The guys of Shinedown will kick off a North American co-headlining tour with Godsmack on July 22 in Clarkston, Michigan, and stay on the road through an Oct. 13 date in Sacramento, California at Aftershock Festival.
Shinedown’s “ATTENTION ATTENTION” marks the band’s sixth studio album. The album debuted inside the top five on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative, Top Rock and Hard Rock Albums charts. The record is one of Shinedown’s heavier releases, with hefty riffs and rhythms amid Shinedown’s trademark melodic sound and inspiring themes.
