Korn Singer Jonathan Davis’ Wife, Deven Davis, Passes Away at 39

The wife of Jonathan Davis of Korn has passed away, according to TMZ

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis’s wife, Deven Davis, passed away earlier today (Aug. 17), according to a report by TMZ and a press statement. She was just 39 years old.

A Davis family representative has released an official statement about Deven’s passing, saying, “The Davis family is brokenhearted over the devastating loss of Deven Davis. We ask that you respect their privacy — and the privacy of those close to the family — and allow them the space to mourn in private. We thank you for your love, understanding and prayers of support during this difficult time.”

Deven married Jonathan back in 2004, and Deven and the Korn vocalist had two children together, Pirate and Zeppelin. According to TMZ, Jonathan filed for divorce in October of 2016 for “irreconcilable differences.” Also according to the TMZ report, Jonathan filed for a domestic violence restraining order today, and the judge gave a temporary order blocking any child custody or visitation from Deven. The restraining order also blocked her from having any contact with the couple’s dog, Chaos.

“Jonathan alleged in the docs Deven was deep into drugs — something she had struggled with for more than 20 years,” TMZ states in the report. “He alleged her drug use was causing emotional harm to the kids through neglect. He says in his court declaration she has been dependent on both prescription and illegal narcotics. She’d been to rehab 6 times and ‘is constantly under the influence of the nitrous oxide, cocaine and Norco.'”

Deven had been spending time in a sober home but had been missing since last Friday and hadn’t been spotted for a week. As of now, no cause of death been revealed.
