Disturbed reveals cities for first leg of 2019 tour
Disturbed has announced more than two dozen cities slated for their 2019 ‘Evolution’ tour
The guys of Disturbed are taking 2019 by storm. The crew has announced that early next year, they will hit the road on a major North American tour in support of their new album, “Evolution,” due out this fall.
Thus far, Disturbed has only revealed cities for the tour, not dates. Official dates and additional cities are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Current cities include Albuquerque, Buffalo, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Houston, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Lincoln, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Montreal, Nashville, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, Toronto, Uncasville, Washington D.C. and Worcester.
As for the band’s schedule for rest of this year, Disturbed will play a special, small gig at Vic Theatre in Chicago, Illinois, on Oct. 10, presented by SiriusX. The guys also have a major stop at the Austin City Limits music festival in Austin, Texas, on Oct. 13.
“Evolution,” which marks Disturbed’s seventh studio album, will hit stores on Oct. 19. The album is the band’s follow-up to their blockbuster 2015 album, “Immortalized,” which earned the guys an entirely new audience of fans with their stripped-down cover of the Simon & Garfunkel song, “The Sound of Silence.”
The first single off “Evolution,” the hard-hitting “Are You Ready,” is already inside the top five on the BDS mainstream rock radio chart. Watch the fiery music video for the song below.
