Watch the members of Metallica perform a special, acoustic version of “All Within My Hands” at a special charity event

Sure, Metallica is known as one of the most hard-hitting metal bands of all time, but the guys can also shine acoustically. Earlier this month, the metal men per formed a special acoustic concert to raise money for the group’s All Within My Hands charity organization.

For those who couldn’t make the charity show, the band has posted a live video from the concert of them performing the “St. Anger” track “All Within My Hands,” after which the foundation was named. Watch the stripped-down acoustic performance below via YouTube.

At the show, Metallica also performed acoustic renditions of popular songs such as “Enter Sandman” and “Nothing Else Matters,” as well as covers of Bob Seger, Deep Purple and more. The All Within My Hands charity event also featured an opening performance from alternative rockers Cage the Elephant.

The All Within My Hands concert raised more than $1.3 million to go towards helping fight hunger and improve workforce education. The organization also donated $50,000 to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the North Valley Community Foundation to help those impacted by the horrific California wildfires.

In other news, Metallica, who has been on tour for much of this year, is gearing up to hit the road once again. The band will kick off the latest U.S. leg of their WorldWired tour with a show on Monday (Nov. 26) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
