Korn, Tool and Foo Fighters to Headline Debut Epicenter Festival
The inaugural edition of Epicenter festival will feature headlining sets from Korn, Tool and Foo Fighters
There’s a new music festival on the books for 2019. The inaugural Epicenter festival will take place from May 10 through 12 in Richmond County, North Carolina, and the festival’s first-ever lineup will feature Foo Fighters, Tool and Korn.
The rest of the 2019 bill includes a bevy of hard rock and metal acts, including Judas Priest, 311, Rob Zombie, Bring Me the Horizon, Evanescence, Bush, Live, Mastodon, Black Label Society, The Cult, The Prodigy, Killswitch Engage, Tom Morello, Skillet and Badflower, to name a few.
“There are many defining moments that dramatically mark a band’s history, and one such moment in time happened in North Carolina with Korn,” the member of Korn said in a joint statement. “(North Carolina) holds a special place in Korn’s heart, as we unexpectedly reunited with our old friend Head. It’s been a great 6 (plus) years with Head back in Korn and we look forward to rocking NC again with Foo Fighters, Tool and many other great bands.”
Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykesadded, “We’re very excited to be playing next year’s Epicenter Festival in Rockingham. It’s a privilege to be sharing a stage alongside some of our favorite acts, and to be back in North Carolina.”
Epicenter will take the spot of the longtime North Carolina rock and metal festival Carolina Rebellion, which wrapped up its run last year. For ticket information and the full lineup, head to EpicenterFestival.com.
