Ozzy Osbourne is ‘Breathing On His Own,’ Says Sharon
Sharon Osbourne says her husband is “breathing on his own” and “overcome by the response he’s had” from fans
Ozzy Osbourne has been hospitalized for days as he battles a difficult case of the flu, but thankfully, today brings some positive news about his condition. Ozzy’s wife, Sharon Osbourne, was back at her television gig today (Feb. 12), the CBS talk show “The Talk,” and announced on the show that he is “doing good.”
“He’s breathing on his own. He’s overcome by the response he’s had,” she said on the show. After dealing with both the flu and bronchitis, doctors made the decision to keep Ozzy in the hospital to make sure he could fully recover before returning to the stage.
This good news comes on the heels of Ozzy’s son Jack gave fans an update last week, when he posted on Instagram that he going was going to visit his dad in the hospital and that Ozzy was “doing much better.” Jack also thanked fans for all of their well wishes.
Due to Ozzy recovering from the flu, he was forced to cancel the European leg of his “No More Tours 2” tour with Judas Priest. Last year, Ozzy had to postpone a portion of his U.S. tour dates due to complications with multiple staph infections.
Ozzy’s upcoming North American tour dates are still scheduled, with are slated to kick off in May with support from Megadeth. For all of Ozzy’s upcoming tour dates, head to Ozzy.com.
