Slipknot Unveil Summer Tour Dates with Feature Volbeat, Gojira + More
Slipknot will hit the road this summer on the Knotfest Roadshow tour with Volbeat, Gojira and Behemoth
Corey Taylor and the masked men of Slipknot have announced a meaty summer tour in support of the band’s greatly-anticipated upcoming new album.
The tour, called the Knotfest Roadshow, will begin July 26 in Mountain View, California, and run through a Sept. 8 concert in The Woodlands, Texas. Also appearing on the tour with Slipknot will be fellow metal acts Volbeat, Gojira and Behemoth.
Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale to the general public starting this Friday (March 8) at 10 a.m. local venue time. Premium members of Slipknot’s Outside the 9 fan club will be able to purchase tickets via a pre-sale beginning today (March 5) at 10 a.m. local time. Regarding the Slipknot album, the set will mark the band’s follow-up to 2014’s “.5: The Gray Chapter.” While Tayor and the guys have unveiled the title or track list yet, but they have confirmed that the new album will arrive on Aug. 9.
