Skillet, Sevendust, Pop Evil + Devour the Day Announce 2019 Tour
Skillet and Sevendust are hitting the road on a co-headlining run, and they’re taking rockers Pop Evil and Devour the Day along for the ride
Two staples of the hard rock world, Skillet and Sevendust, have announced a co-headlining “Victorious War Tour” set for August and September. The tour — which features openers Pop Evil and Devour the Day — will set off Aug. 11 in Memphis, Tennessee, at Minglewood Hall and run through a Sept. 7 date in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the Brady Theater. Tickets for the newly announced shows will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. local time Friday (April 26).
“We’re thrilled to be touring with Sevendust,” Skillet frontman John Cooper said in a statement. “The lineup is incredible and I think the fans will be very happy. We can’t wait to play our new songs on the tour and connect with the Panheads out on the road.”
In other news, Skillet will announce their new project on May 7. The band will perform songs from the upcoming set on this tour.
“We are looking so forward to touring with Skillet,” added Sevendust frontman Lajon Witherspoon. “What an amazing band — these shows are going to be amazing. We can’t wait to share the stages with them.”
