Shinedown Unveils Music Video for Piano Version of ‘GET UP’

Brent Smith and the guys of Shinedown have debuted the music video for the piano version of the band’s latest single, “GET UP.”
The music video is a good snapshot of the unplugged vibe of the recording, with band members sitting around a piano that is being played by bass player Eric Bass. That’s appropriate, as Bass’ fight with depression inspired Smith to write the lyrics for the song. Watch the music video via YouTube below.
Shinedown’s original version of “GET UP” has been a major success for the band, as it hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Songs chart and climbed inside the top 25 on the Alternative Songs chart. The song has also been listened to more than 38 million times on streaming devices.
In other news, Shinedown is spending much of this year on the road in support of “ATTENTION ATTENTION.” The band is currently on their intimate “An Evening With” tour and will kick off a headlining tour of major U.S. venues in June. Come fall, the band will hit the road again. Find tour dates for the band’s summer shows here and fall shows here.
