Judas Priest Members Meet Adorable Rescue Pups on Tour
In between tour dates, the members of Judas Priest posed with adorable rescue dogs and puppies at Lucky Paws Dog Rescue Centre
Everyone loves holding cute, cuddly dogs, even metalheads. Case in point: The metal legends of Judas Priest took some time off their current tour in support of “Firepower” to meet some of the rescue puppies from the Lucky Paws Dog Rescue Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan, and they posed for a photo.
Ian Hill, Richie Faulkner, Scott Travis and Andy Sneap from Judas Priest posed holding the adorable rescue dogs and puppies from Lucky Paws and posted the photo on the band’s social media accounts.
The photo caption reads, “Ian, Richie and Scott from Judas Priest and Andy meet some of the rescue puppies from the Lucky Paws Dog Rescue Centre who are a group of volunteers dedicated to rescuing dogs and puppies that come from horrible situations and give them a new lease of life…..they do great work in finding good homes for these abandoned puppies and dogs… Here we have Ian with Lemmy, Richie with Judas, Scott with Scotia and Andy with Lita….!!”
Lucky Paws also tweeted out the photo, as well, saying they were, “thrilled last night to have they guys from Judas Priest do a a charity photo shoot with our rescue puppies.”
Judas Priest continues their tour in support of 2018’s “Firepower” record tonight with a show in Lethbridge, Canada.
In other news, Hill recently spoke Audio Ink Radio about all things Judas Priest and said that he would like for the band to get together with fellow metal great Iron Maiden before the bands call it quits.
“There’s always the big question of Judas Priest and Iron Maiden,” Hill said. “That would be really interesting if we could get that together before some of us die. It’d be great! (Laughs) There are a lot of other bands we’ve played with.”
Hill added, “We’ve got Uriah Heep, specials guests on this tour. I was a fan of Uriah Heep way back in the day. They go back at least as long as we do, if not a bit further. You run into these people over the years. We’ve played with quite a few of them, but we’ve got to get together with Iron Maiden.”
