Alter Bridge Offers Groovy Riffs in New Song, ‘Pay No Mind’
Listen to Alter Bridge’s feisty new song, “Pay No Mind”
Alter Bridge recently released the debut single, “Wouldn’t You Rather,” from their upcoming album, “Walk the Sky,” and now, the band has unleashed the second bit of new music off the set. The new song, “Pay No Mind,” features Myles Kennedy’s soaring, tensor vocals stretching over a sea of Mark Tremonti’s choppy guitars and pummeling rhythms from Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips. Listen to the song below.
Mixing heavy sonics with Kennedy’s emotive vocals, “Pay No Mind” offers everything Alter Bridge fans have come to live from the band: expert musicianship and towering emotions. Meanwhile, “Wouldn’t You Rather,” is currently inside the Top 25 on the active rock radio chart, and the song’s music video is near a million views.
In other news, Alter Bridge will hit the road with Skillet on “The Victorious War” tour along with Pop Evil and Devour the Day. The tour will kick off in September and run through the end of October with back-to-back hometown gigs at the House of Blues in Orlando, Florida. Find out dates here.
