“Live and Loud,” recorded by MTV in December 1993 in Seattle, was one of Nirvana’s final recorded performances

Nirvana’s famed “Live and Loud” concert film will be available on vinyl on Aug. 30. The performance was one of the band’s final, as it happened just a few months before frontman Kurt Cobain took his own life in April 1994.

The “Live and Loud” show was recorded by MTV in December 1993 in Seattle, roughly one month after Nirvana taped their now-famous MTV Unplugged performance. It features Cobain alongside drummer Dave Grohl, bass player Krist Novoselic and guitarist Pat Smear. View the full track list for the set below.

“Live and Loud” has been available before, but not on vinyl. The film arrived on home video in 2013 and was featured in the 20th anniversary edition of 1993’s “In Utero.” Not only is the upcoming “Live and Loud” release its first time on vinyl but also the first time it will be out as a standalone audio release.
