Styx to Kick Off Fall 2019 North American Tour Tonight
Styx will hit the road for their final 2019 tour dates this week, and they already have shows on the books for next year
Styx will set off on the final leg of their 2019 North American tonight (Oct. 3) in Sugar Land, Texas. The longtime rockers have 19 shows on the books for the rest of the year and will close out their run with a Dec. 15 concert in El Paso, Texas.
For three of the shows — the gigs Nov. 7 and 16 in Westbury, New York, and Nov. 9 in Boston — Styx will perform their full 2017 concept album, “The Mission,” plus other familiar songs from their collection.
Styx already has some shows on their schedule for 2020. Tommy Saw and company will hit the road on Jan. 10 in Phoenix, Arizona, for a two-night stand and run through a Jan. 19 date in Las Vegas, Nevada. Find the full roster of tour dates below. More Styx 2020 tour dates will be announced soon.
Styx bass player Ricky Phillips recently told Audio Ink that there will “absolutely” be another Styx album. “There are already ideas flowing, and as soon as we find a break — probably towards the end of the year — we’ll really start to formulate those ideas deeper, but it’s in motion,” he said.
