Motley Crue and Def Leppard Add New Stadium Tour Dates
The guys of Motley Crue and Def Leppard have added seven new dates to their 2020 stadium trek
Motley Crue and Def Leppard are expanding their 2020 stadium tour. The two rock bands have added seven new dates to the co-headlining tour, which also features special guests Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.
The newly announced concert begin June 21 in San Antonio, Texas, and continue on June 23 in Kansas City, Missouri; June 25 in St. Louis; June 27 in Minneapolis; June 29 in Nashville; June 31 in Cincinnati; and July 2 in Cleveland.
Motley Crue and Def Leppard’s previously announced schedule runs from a July 7 date in the Miami, Florida, area to a Sept. 5 stop in Inglewood, California, near Los Angeles. For information, head to Motley.com or DefLeppard.com.
The upcoming tour marks Motley Crue’s dramatic return to performing live after ripping up up their “cessation of touring” agreement, which they signed several years ago to legally prevent them from performing together after what was supposed to be their final show on New Year’s Eve 2015. They got back together due to renewed interest in the band following the release of their Netflix biopic, “The Dirt.”
“Little did we know that making The Dirt movie would lead us to this exciting new place touring stadiums with our friends in Def Leppard,” Motley Crue bass player Nikki Sixx said in a statement. “We are beyond excited for this tour to begin.”
“The word on the street was that fans were overly excited about this stadium tour even before it was announced…well it’s out there now and it keeps getting bigger and bigger,” added Leppard frontman Joe Elliott. “This is going to be a monster of a tour!”
