Stone Temple Pilots Going Unplugged on New Album, ‘Perdida’
“Perdida,” the new album from Stone Temple Pilots, will feature an array of new songs, all acoustic
Stone Temple Pilots will release a new, acoustic album, “Perdida,” on Feb. 7. The album will feature 10 original songs, all of them completely unplugged. Listen to the album’s first single, “Fare Thee Well,” below via YouTube.
“Perdida” means “loss” in Spanish, and guitarist Dean DeLeo says that’s the theme of the album.
“You have to live it to write it, and this record is a reflection of where we’ve been recently,” he said.
In addition to the album news, Stone Temple Pilots have also announced a North American acoustic tour to promote “Perdida” next year beginning Feb. 5 in Vancouver. On tour, the band will perform songs off “Perdida,” plus some STP classics unplugged.
