Aerosmith to Perform at the 2020 Grammy Awards
Aerosmith will take the stage at the 2020 Grammy Awards as the 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year
Aerosmith will bring a dose of rock ‘n’ roll to the 2020 Grammy Awards. The longstanding rock band will hit the state at this year’s Grammy Awards and perform as the 2020 MusiCares Person of the Year, a title given to honor a band’s career achievements and philanthropic work. Aerosmith first performed at the Grammy Awards back in 1991.
On January 24, two days before the Grammy Awards, a special MusiCares Person of the Year gala will take place to honor Aerosmith. That show will feature performances from plenty of big-named rockers and pop stars, including Alice Cooper, Foo Fighters, Cheap Trick, Sammy Hagar, John Legend, Gary Clark Jr., The Jonas Brothers and LeAnn Rimes, to name a few.
Other acts confirmed for the 2020 Grammy Awards include Lizzo, Billie Eilish and No Doubt vocalist Gwen Stefani, the latter who will perform a duet with her boyfriend, country star Blake Shelton.
The 2020 Grammys will air live from Los Angeles starting at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 26, on CBS.
In other news, Aerosmith will kick off their latest round of Las Vegas dates with eight shows at Las Vegas’ Park Theatre at Park MGM on Jan. 29. The band’s residency is currently scheduled through June.
