Goo Goo Dolls have unleashed a new, comic book-inspired lyric video for their single “Fearless,” which appears on the band’s latest studio album, “Miracle Pill.”
The video, directed and produced by Michael Perlmutter, is a celebration of the lives of everyday heroes. With the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, everyday heroes are getting the spotlight, as everyone from nurses to first responders to grocery store workers find themselves on the front lines of this crisis. Watch the moving video below.
In other news, Johnny Rzeznik and Robby Takac recently released a live performance of “Fearless” in association with Global Citizen for their “Together At Home” Series. The unplugged version was recorded in an effort to spread awareness and raise funds for the World Health Organization to help in the global fight against the coronavirus. Goo Goo spent last summer on a North American amphitheater tour with Train, which featured the guys performing all the hits — “Big Machine,” “Slide,” “Black Balloon,” “Here Is Gone,” “Broadway” and “Iris” — as well as some new songs.
“Miracle Pill” album arrived in September 2019. Goo Goo Dolls currently have plans to tour to promote the album on tour with Lifehouse, depending on the coronavirus situation.
