Halestorm Releasing Newly Recorded Versions of Past Hits for ‘Reimagined’ EP
Halestorm will release newly recorded versions of five Halestorm songs on their upcoming “Reimagined” EP, including a duet with Amy Lee of Evanescence
Halestorm are gearing up to release a new EP named “Reimagined” on Aug. 14, and it’s not your typical EP. The collection will feature newly recorded versions of five Halestorm songs, including “I Miss the Misery,” “I Get Off,” “Break In,” “I Am the Fire” and “Mz. Hyde.”
“Reimagined” will also feature a cover of “I Will Always Love You,” originally penned by Dolly Parton and popularized by Whitney Houston.
The Reimagined version of “Break In,” which features guest vocals from Evanescence’s Amy Lee, is currently available for download via digital outlets. Listen to the song below.
“Over the last decade, we’ve been putting out cover EPs in between every original album cycle just for fun…But this time around we decided to shake it up!” frontwoman Lzzy Hale said in a statement. “For our ‘Reimagined’ EP, we committed to only one cover but filled the rest with reimagined versions of Halestorm songs. It was such a blast to remake some of our favorite originals.”
Halestorm’s latest album is 2018’s “Vicious.”
In other news, Halestorm also recently kicked off their #ROADIESTRONG support campaign to help give essential financial assistance to road crews around the world who have been impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Fans are able to buy #ROADIESTRONG merchandise and make donations, and all proceeds benefit Live Nation’s Crew Nation, which benefits live music crews.
