Five Finger Death Punch Cancel 2020 North American Tour
After being rescheduled from the spring, Five Finger Death Punch is now canceling their fall 2020 North American tour with Papa Roach, I Prevail and Ice Nine Kills
It’s official: Five Finger Death Punch’s 2020 U.S. tour is off. The trek — which featured openers Papa Roach, I Prevail and Ice Nine Kills on the bill — was first scheduled to start April, but eventually moved to the end of September due to coronavirus (COVID-19). As the summer progressed, it became more and more apparent that the arena tour would likely not take place this fall, and now, the the Las Vegas hard rockers are canceled the entire run.
“We were really looking forward to get the green light for hitting the road in 2020,” Five Finger Death Punch said in a statement on social media. “Rest assured, we are watching the situation very closely and we will be back on the road the moment it becomes possible.”
By not rescheduling the tour again, ticket holder will be able to receive their refunds now and won’t have to wait for rescheduled dates to be announced. Tickets will automatically be refunded. For more information, ticket-holders are asked to contact their point of purchase.
While there’s no tour on the horizon, Five Finger Death Punch will be unleashing a new greatest hits compilation, “A Decade of Destruction Volume 2,” this fall. The set will arrive on both CD and vinyl, with the CD version out Oct. 9 and vinyl Nov. 20. The band’s “A Decade of Destruction Volume 1” was out in 2017.
