Gwen Stefani of No Doubt and country singer Blake Shelton are officially engaged

Two of music’s most high-profile performers are getting married, as Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have officially announced they’re engaged.

The alternative rock star and country singer announced their engagement Instagram on Tuesday (Oct. 27), with a photo showing off Stefani’s engagement ring.

“Yes please!” the No Doubt vocalist wrote with a photo of herself kissing Shelton.

Shelton also took to social media to spread the good news, sharing the same photo and stating, “Hey @gwenstefani, thanks for saving my 2020…And the rest of my life. I love you.” He also wrote, “I heard a yes!”

For the past few years, rumors have circulated that the two were getting married, but the couple denied the reports.

Shelton and Stefani have been together for nearly five years. They met on the set of “The Voice,” where they are both coaches, and started dating. As their romance blossomed, the two were very open about their growing love with fans, constantly sharing photos together on social media.

Shelton and Stefani are something of a power couple, as the two have released some duets, including two country singles, “Nobody but You” and “Happy Anywhere,” and a Christmas song for a holiday album that Stefani released.
