Korn and Staind Announce Summer U.S. Amphitheater Tour
Rock kingpins Korn and Staind will hit the road on a 28-city tour beginning in early August
Korn are welcoming back live music in a major way, by announcing a summer North American tour with special guests Aaron Lewis and Staind. The trek will begin Aug. 5 in West Palm Beach, Florida, and run through a Sept. 21 date in Dallas.
Both Korn and Staind were slated to tour in 2020, but those treks were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Korn was slated to hit the road on a co-headlining tour with Faith No More, while Staind were set to be part of Disturbed’s tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of “The Sickness” record.
Korn are touring behind their latest album, 2019’s “The Nothing.” The record was the Bakersfield, California group’s 14th Top 10 entry on the Billboard 200 and scored them the fifth-most Top 10 debuts of any rock band in the history of the chart. Korn also scored a handful of rock radio hits with “The Nothing,” including “You’ll Never Find Me,” “Can You Hear Me” and “Cold.”
Staind most recently released a live set, 2021’s “Live: It’s Been Awhile,” featuring footage from the band’s Foxwoods Resort Casino in in Mashantucket, Connecticut, in October of 2019. The show was the band’s first after a five-year hiatus. Staind also recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of their “Break the Cycle” album, which was RIAA certified 5x platinum and features the ubiquitous single “It’s Been Awhile,” a staple on modern rock radio to this day.
Both Korn and Staind will also perform at Louisville, Kentucky’s Louder Than Life Festival on Sept. 23.
Tickets for all dates go on sale to the general public this Friday (May 14) at noon venue local time via Ticketmaster. A pre-sale for tickets starts this Thursday (May 13) at 10 a.m. local time. For additional ticket information, head to KornOfficial.com. View the full tour roster below.
