Guns N’ Roses to Embark on U.S. Tour with Wolfgang Van Halen’s Mammoth WVH
Guns N’ Roses have announced a full slate of summer U.S. tour dates with support from Mammoth WVH
Guns N’ Roses have announced a lengthy roster of U.S. summer tour dates featuring support from Wolfgang Van Halen’s band, Mammoth WVH. The tour includes dates rescheduled from last year, plus 14 new stops.
The trek runs roughly two months and takes the band through 25 stops, including headlining festival appearances at at Napa’s BottleRock festival and Milwaukee’s Summerfest. The newly announced dates set off July 31 in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and wraps up with a two-night appearance in Hollywood, Florida, on Oct. 2 and 3.
Three of Guns N’ Roses’ original members – Slash, Axl Rose and Duff McKagan – reunited in 2016 for their “Not in This Lifetime” tour, and the trek proved extremely prosperous, earning them more than $550 million over the course of several tour legs. The band is reportedly working on new music, which will mark their first release featuring original members since 1991’s “Use Your Illusion” I and II.
The Smashing Pumpkins were slated to open on Guns N’ Roses’ canceled 2020 stadium tour. Instead, GN’R is bringing Wolfgang Van Halen along, who is touring behind Mammoth WVH’s self-titled debut, out June 11.
Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale this Friday (June 4) via Ticketmaster. Tickets for the rescheduled shows will be good for the new dates.
