Myles Kennedy Announces U.S. Solo Tour with Tyler Bryant
Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge and Slash’s band has announced a fall tour in support of his sophomore solo album, “The Ides of March”
Alter Bridge vocalist Myles Kennedy has announced a round of 2021 U.S. solo tour dates with Tyler Bryant opening. Kennedy, who is also the lead singer of Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, is touring behind his latest studio album, “The Ides of March.”
The tour sets off Sept. 7 in St. Petersburg, Florida, and closes out with an Oct. 2 show in Baltimore. Earlier this year, Kennedy performed a handful of socially distanced acoustic concerts, but the upcoming trek marks his first traditional tour in support of “The Ides of March.”
Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. local venue time this Friday (July 9) via Ticketmaster and Kennedy’s official site. Pre-sales are available now. View the full list of tour dates below.
Myles Kennedy recently spoke with Audio Ink Radio about “The Ides of March” and the guitar-centric approach to the album. “I think that over the last few years, I’ve kind of rediscovered my love for not just the electric guitar but also for solos and improvisation, which is kind of where I started as a guitar player,” he said. “So, I knew that if I was going to have the opportunity to make up a second solo record, I wanted to explore that a little more and put together arrangements that would allow me to have a few bars to improvise and play lead guitar.”
