Underoath to Headline 2022 Tour with Every Time I Die and Spiritbox
Underoath, Every Time I Die and Spiritbox are gearing up for an early 2022 North American tour
Underoath are back at it with a new album and tour on the way. The hardcore band has announced a North American trek featuring Every Time I Die and Spiritbox, set to kick off in early 2022.
The upcoming run will mark Underoath’s first time hitting the stage together since the band’s Observatory livestream experience last year. Dates will set off Feb. 18 in Dallas, Texas, and run through March 26 in Atlanta, Georgia.
“There was a time during the pandemic where I didn’t know if we’d ever get to tour again,” vocalist Spencer Chamberlain said in a statement regarding the upcoming run. “I would sit up at night and try to wrap my brain around a world without live music and I just couldn’t ever digest that thought.”
He added, “That being said we couldn’t think of a better way to come back on the tour than with our friends Every Time I Die and Spiritbox. Our thought is if we are gonna do this, let’s DO IT! We wanted to put together the best/craziest lineup we could think of so we could all let loose in a live setting together again. We want this show to be fun for everyone attending from start to finish, so here we go.”
Underoath recently announced their new album, “Voyeurist,” will hit stores Jan. 14. They’ve already released two new singles from the upcoming collection, called “Hallelujah” and “Damn Excuses.”
As for the supporting bands, Every Time I Die are wrapping up work on their upcoming studio album, which is expected to arrive in early 2022. Spiritbox are scheduled release their debut album, “Eternal Blue,” Sept. 17.
