Radiohead to Reissue ‘Kid A’ and ‘Amnesiac’ in New ‘Kid Amnesiae’ Compilation
Radiohead are gearing up to reissue two of their seminal albums, 2000’s “Kid A” and 2001’s “Amnesiac,” in one special package
Radiohead have a pair of reissues on the way. The Thom Yorke-fronted alternative rock band has announced a united reissue of 2000’s “Kid A” and 2001’s “Amnesiac,” titled “KID A MNESIA,” due out Nov. 5.
“KID A MNESIA” will offer remastered versions of the original two albums, plus a third CD, “Kid Amnesiae,” packed with “alternate versions and elements” of Kid A and Amnesiac album songs and B-sides. The latter disc will also feature a never-before-released studio recording of the Radiohead tune “Follow Me Around.” View the bonus CD track listing below.
In addition to the main version of the release, Radiohead will offer a handful of special editions, such as “Kid Amnesiette,” a limited and numbered edition double cassette with B-sides and other goodies. Another edition is a deluxe three-LP set pressed on half-speed mastered cream vinyl with a limited-edition art book. The album will also be available on red and black vinyl, in addition to the three-disc and digital releases.

On Nov. 4, one day before the reissue arrives, Yorke and Stanley Donwood will publish two art books that, according to a release, will “catalog the visual works created during the ‘Kid A’ / ‘Amnesiac’ era.” The “KID A MNESIA” art book will be a 300-page “celebration of the process and artwork created for the two albums, according to a release, while “FEAR STALKS THE LAND!” will be a B&W paperback gathering Yorke and Donwood’s notes, lyrics and sketches.
