Foo Fighters Announce 2022 North American Tour Roster
Foo Fighters have announced 17 new tour dates for 2022, keeping the band on the road from May through August
Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters are gearing up for another busy year, as the longstanding rock band has announced a new round of 2022 dates. The 17 new gigs are set for May, July and August, adding to their 2022 tour roster.
Foo Fighters’ first U.S. tour date of next year is Aug. 20 Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. From there, the band will play a variety of venues, including amphitheaters and stadiums, before closing out with back-to-back shows on Aug. 20 in Los Angeles, California, at the Banc of California Stadium.
As for what to expect on the run, the Foos released their latest album, “Medicine at Midnight,” earlier this year, so they’ll be playing some new tunes off the set, as well as the classics. The Foos are also recent inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and this marks their first tour since receiving the honors.
Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. local time this Friday (Dec. 3). For ticket information, head to FooFighters.com. There’s also a Citi pre-sale for credit card holders for the tour beginning today (Nov. 30) at noon ET and closing out Thursday (Dec. 2) at 10 a.m. local time.
