Foo Fighters and Smashing Pumpkins Confirmed for 2022 Beale Street Music Festival
Foo Fighters and Smashing Pumpkins will join Dirty Honey, Lil’ Wayne, Modest Mouse and more as part of the 2022 Beale Street Music Festival
With Christmas around the corner, spring isn’t on the top of the minds of many people, but the folks behind the annual Beale Street Music Festival are already planning for May. On Tuesday (Dec. 21), organizers for the annual music festival revealed the first batch of performers confirmed for the 2022 event, and the roster features a handful of major rock, alternative and pop music names.
As for headliners, Foo Fighters and Smashing Pumpkins have been confirmed for the 2022 Beale Street Music Festival. Other acts confirmed for the event include Dirty Honey, Glorious Sons, Lindsey Buckingham, Modest Mouse, Toad the West Sprocket and Soccer Mommy. They’ll join previously announced performers Lil’ Wayne, Three 6 Mafia, Da Baby, Moneybagg Yo, Sarkodie, Trigger Hippy, Sue Foley and Kenny Brown.
The 2022 Beale Street Music Festival is set for April 29 to May 1 at the Fairgrounds in Memphis. The final acts for the multi-day event will be announced in early February. The upcoming show will mark the Beale Street Music Festival’s return after the pandemic forced canceled dates in both 2020 and 2021.
This year’s festival will take place at Liberty Park, previously known as the Fairgrounds. Usually, the event is staged at Tom Lee park, but that venue isn’t available due to construction.
Even though the final acts have yet to be announced, tickets for the Beatle Street Music Festival are already on sale. The event runs $155 for a three-day pass, and VIP passes are also available. Head to the festival’s official website at MemphisinMan.org for ticketing information.
For Foo Fighters, the festival appearance will come amid a lengthy run of 2022 North American tour dates. Dave Grohl and company will kick off a U.S. run in May. Find Foo Fighters tour dates here.
