Foo Fighters Add New Dates to 2022 Tour
Dave Grohl and Foo Fighters are lengthening their 2022 tour in support of “Medicine at Midnight”
Last fall, Foo Fighters announced a slew of tour dates for North America and across the globe, taking the band through a variety of venues in May, July and August. If they didn’t include your city in that run, you might be in luck, as Dave Grohl and company have added 10 new shows to the tally.
Foo Fighters’ first U.S. appearance in 2022 is on Feb. 26 in Tempe, Arizona, at Innings Festival. The band picks things up in the states in late April with a stint at Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, Tennessee, followed by more festival appearances and North American tour dates.
The new dates include both North American and overseas stops, with the North American ones being a Sept. 18 stop in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at Denny Sanford Premier Center and an Oct. 7 date in Bend, Oregon, at Hayden Homes Amphitheater. View the full roster of new tour dates below.
Tickets for the newly announced headlining gigs will go on sale to the public starting this Friday (Feb. 18) at 10 am local venue time. Citi cardmembers will score pre-sales for the Sioux Falls and Bend shows starting Tuesday (Feb. 15) at 10 a.m. local time and running through Thursday at 10 p.m.
So, what do the Foo Fighters plan to play on the road? Expect to hear cuts off their latest album, “Medicine at Midnight,” released in early 2021, as well as songs representing their 25-plus year catalog. Grohl and the Foo Fighters are also recent inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
