Mudvayne and Rob Zombie Announce 2022 U.S. Tour with Static-X and Powerman 5000
Nu-metal behemoths Mudvayne, Rob Zombie, Static-X and Powerman 5000 are teaming up for 2022 run
If 2000s nu-metal and industrial rock is your thing, then you’re in luck, as a range of bands from that era and genre are joining forces for a massive U.S. tour. Rob Zombie has announced a summer headlining run, and he’s taking along Mudvayne, Static-X and Powerman 5000 for the ride.
The trek, named the Freaks on Parade tour, will feature songs from the bands’ lengthy catalogs, which contain music from the early 2000s to today. It’s hard to believe, but each of the bands on the tour have been around for decades at this point, and while a few have taken a hiatus, there’s certainly a consistent breadth of material to play on the trek.
While each of the bands has their own charm, this tour is of extra importance to Mudvayne. The masked nu-metallers reunited for the first time in year in 2021, and the upcoming tour will mark their first proper trek.
The 21-date U.S. tour kicks off July 20 in Maryland Heights, Missouri, and runs through an Aug. 21 date in The Woodlands, Texas. View the full list of upcoming tour dates below. Tickets go on sale starting Friday (March 25) at 10 a.m. local venue time via Live Nation.
