Michigan Music Festival to Feature Mike Tyson, Rap Acts and More
Too $hort, Curren$y and more rap acts are set to perform at the second annual 420 Music Festival
420 Music Festival is set to return to Michigan on April 23. The second annual event will feature a bevy of hot rap acts, including Too $hort, Curren$y, Starlito and Don Trip, Willy J Peso, Prime Suspects, Kelsey Lynn, Bobbe Black, Caskey and more.
The festival is in its second year and is about “celebrating live music and the freedom of recreational cannabis consumption,” according to the festival’s Facebook page. It will take place in Adado Riverfront Park, near downtown Lansing.
Boxing great Mike Tyson is also set to appear at the festival. He’ll do stage announcements for some of the acts. Tyson’s premium cannabis line, California-based Tyson 2.0, recently partnered with Michigan’s Common Citizen, who is an event partner. Common Citizen retail partner LIV in Lansing is presenting the event.
“Like I did in the ring for so many years, my Tyson 2.0 cannabis — which I personally test and approve — delivers a powerful punch I can’t wait to share with Common Citizen’s customers,” Tyson, Chief Brand Officer for Tyson 2.0, said in a statement. “This is a business partnership, but more importantly, it’s an investment in people, and I look forward to sharing that message with Common Citizen in the months ahead.”
Ahead of 420 Music Festival, Blaine “Kid K-Zoo” Burnet checked in with Audio Ink Radio to talk about the event. “We are looking forward to connecting with all of the fans and other artists on the festival,” Kid K-Zoo said. “The fans are the whole reason we get to go out there and do what we love. We definitely want to do our part to make this festival one that they will always remember!”
Check back later this month for a full interview with K-Zoo. For more information on 420 Music Festival, visit the event’s official website.
