Hatebreed Announce Perseverance 20th Anniversary Tour

Hatebreed will honor the 20th anniversary of their sophomore “Perseverance” album with a major tour

Hatebreed have announced a fall 2022 U.S. tour in honor of the 20th anniversary of their “Perseverance” album. Gatecreeper and Bleeding Through will open on select dates, and Bodysnatcher and Dying Wish will also be part of the full tour.

The trek sets off Oct. 27 in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and runs through a Nov. 20 date in San Diego. Bleeding Through will step in for Gatecreeper for the final three show stops. Hatebreed also promises more shows that are yet to be announced.

“Perseverance” marked Hatebreed’s sophomore album and greatly increased their visibility in the metal world. Out in 2002, it was the group’s major label debut after signing with Universal. Since then, frontman Jamey Jasta and the crew have released a bevy of albums, the latest being 2020’s “Weight of the False Self.”

Hatebreed have a busy 2022 going on, as the band will wrap up with run with Anthrax and Black Label Society right before their 20th anniversary tour kicks off. The Anthrax and Black Label Society trek runs through Aug. 28 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Hatebreed, however, will exit the tour following the August 26th show in Brooklyn, New York.
